I threw these ingredients together one morning and our forever protein shake was born. That ever-so-subtle flavor of coffee makes this the perfect morning drink, afternoon pick-me-up or late night dessert.
Prepare the shake:
Add all of the ingredients minus the cacao nibs and whipped cream to the blender jar, secure the lid and blend on high until smooth.
Serve the shake:
Pour into 2 insulated glasses and sprinkle some cacao nibs and salt flakes on top along with maybe a generous dollop of whipped cream. Serve with a sundae spoon or straw and enjoy!
Notes: My all-time favorite chocolate protein powder is Dr. Gundry's Proplant Complete Shake but use your compliant favorite. Because the skins of almonds contain lectins, only use an almond butter brand that practices removing the skins in their preparation.
