Hi. My name is Cristina, and I am the founder of Cinder Hill Living. I have suffered from digestive challenges for most of my life with years of accumulating events that led to a decline in my health. From extreme brain fog, to achy joints, to losing my hair, to severe anemia, I was spiraling out of control. And in late 2018, my lifestyle abruptly changed, and I became gluten free. By early 2019, I was diagnosed as a celiac, but I adapted well and my health improved but experienced how difficult it was to navigate safely in a gluten free kitchen. By mid 2020, all my symptoms started returning. I came across an article by Dr. Stephen R. Gundry and it changed my life. Again. And I will never look back. And with that…I now understand and embrace that what happens to you, happens for you.
At Cinder Hill Living, we practice a lectin free lifestyle, and we feel compelled to share some of our favorite dishes with those already living lectin free or just beginning a journey to better health. Our food is simple and not overly styled but represents how we serve and enjoy each and every dish.
