Summer is coming to an end and fall is just upon us. I love this transitional time of year when anticipation seems to take hold of one’s soul, and we say goodbye to warm days and welcome in a cooler season that brings an abundance of beauty and bounty. 

My Summerland Soup is perfect for late August as it is still light with bright veggies but sneaks in some of the heartier components with beans.
